Polysorbate 20 – Cosmetic Grade is a non-ionic surfactant and solubilising agent commonly used when fragrance oils or essential oils need to be incorporated into water-based cosmetic and personal-care formulations. Fragrance materials are generally oil-soluble and do not naturally mix evenly with water, so Polysorbate 20 works by surrounding small fragrance-oil droplets and allowing them to remain dispersed throughout the water phase.
